CRANE will welcome members from across the cyber security research community. Details will be ready soon, but we already anticipate that members will:
- Receive the CRANE newsletter
- Be invited to the annual all-hands event
- Have opportunities to participate in working groups, workshops and sandpits
- [Full members only] Be eligible to apply for CRANE funding opportunities
We will have three categories of membership:
- Individual Full member of CRANE: open to anyone in a role which includes research, if employed by a UKRI research-funding eligible organisation.
- Associate Member: individuals involved in research, but not in an eligible organisation (e.g. industry, government, public bodies, NGOs, overseas academics).
- Organisational Partners: any organisation that has committed to support the network. These will be contacted through a named representative. Employees of the organisation may join in their own right, where appropriate.
We hope that many Full Members will be Early Career Researchers (ECRs): CRANE has a particular mission to support ECR career development.
